Where are you located?
We currently are a company without a home. You can reach us at P.O. Box 61964, Los Angeles, CA 90064.

What time should I arrive at the theatre?
Generally speaking, it is best to arrive at the theatre roughly 15-30 minutes before your performance.

Does the theatre have wheelchair access?
Yes.

Can my child/baby attend the theatre?/Is the show appropriate for children?
It is Chromolume Theatre's policy that no babies in arms may be allowed to attend. Further, we do not permit children under the age of four (4) to attend. This is to ensure that all customers enjoy the show. Young children are admitted but are not encouraged to attend unless the parent is confident the child will not distract other members of the audience. Everyone must have a valid ticket and occupy a seat. Accompanying adults will be asked to remove any noisy children. Generally, Chromolume Theatre produced productions are appropriate for school age children, while visiting productions can vary in appropriateness. Regardless, you should probably check with the Box Office when you order your tickets whether the production you are attending is appropriate for your child.

Are your actors professional?
In most cases, yes. Most, if not all, of the actors who perform in our shows are members of Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and/or American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

Do your musicals have live musicians or taped accompaniment?
All of Chromolume Theatre's produced musicals include a single piano, or a small orchestra, usually five pieces. We do not use taped accompaniment at any of our performances. Any visiting production may use taped accompaniment.

Whom do I contact to usher for one of your performances?
If you wish to usher for one of our performances, contact our House Manager.

How can I purchase tickets for one of your productions?
There are three ways to purchase tickets for Chromolume Theatre produced performances (please note that visiting productions' methods may vary):

• Purchase them in person at the Box Office
• Purchase them over the telephone by calling (323) 510-1651 x202

Where do I pick up my tickets?
You can pick them up at the Box Office on the date of your performance.

Where is the Box Office located?
The Box Office is located immediately as you enter the theatre, to your right. The Box Office is open one hour prior to performance.

When are auditions for your performances?
Audition dates and times vary depending on the production. You can browse our Audition Page to check out when an upcoming audition is occurring and what to prepare for said audition.

Do you do only do musicals?
Chromolume Theatre's production productions are not only musicals. Occasionally, we will produce a play or a play with music. Visiting productions can vary anywhere between performance art to fully staged musicals.

Cast/Crew Bios

Mark Ian Sklar, Stan Dirty Laundry

Marc Ian Sklar got his start at the tender age of 5 when during a variety show at summer camp; he did a rendition of "I'm a Little Teapot" to thunderous applause. After that, the precocious tot was hooked. As an adult, he has appeared on stage as Lord Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Buddha in the LA premiere of Pantheon, Abner Dillon in 42nd Street, co-wrote book, lyrics and co-starred in the LA premiere of Miss Desmond Behind Bars at the Court Theater, and played the Poet - Lucullus in Timon of Athens. His TV credits include, Unsolved Mysteries, The Pretender, a season and half on Nurses as the Orderly and LA Law. Let us not forget about his film credits: Air Force One, Robin Hood - Men in Tights, Mr. Saturday Night, Chaplin, Newsies and a few more.

Ruben Dario, Ari Dirty Laundry

Ruben Dario has been acting almost his entire life. Born in Fullerton, California, Ruben got a taste for the showbiz bug starring as Joseph in his first grade Christmas play. From there he did several community theatre plays like Alice in Wonderland and Grease. He was a member of The Arden Shakespeare Festival Players at Idaho State University and played the role of Snout in a Midsummer Nights Dream and Oswald in King Lear. He also studied under Charles Marrowitz and Ashley Carr at Cal State Long Beach and performed with the University Players. Some of his favorite roles were a Mexican runaway in the play De Donde? and in evil French marquis in A Tale of Two Cities. Other favorite roles were Traino in Taming of the Shrew at the Little Fish Theater and Todd Cartmell in Life and Limb at the Interact Theater. Currently, Ruben is part of The Second City Conservatory and has had the honor to work with Holly Wortell, Bill Applebaum, David Razowsky and Amy Seeley. He is also in the improv group The Human Exhibit which performs at The Second City weekly.

Lee Anne Moore, Donna Dirty Laundry

Did you see Lee Anne at International City Theatre in Doris Baizley's A Christmas Carol, in December? She was the one with the disproportionately large, detachable ass, pratfalling amidst spiritual puppetry and circus stunts. (And she wonders why this town won't take her seriously as an actor.) But we can assure you, Lee Anne actually has a pretty decent resume: She's classically trained, getting a nice little start in film, and is born for television. Paul Luongo, Mario Dirty Laundry

Theatre credits: Forum at the Bayway Arts Center New York, Second Time Around Bayway Arts Center New York, Bleecker Street Studio Theatre New York and most recently The Soapranos with the New York Dinner Theatre. Film: School of Rock, Elf, Two Weeks Notice and The Perfect Score. TV: Sex and the City, Sopranos, Third Watch and Law and Order SVU. Paul is making his Hollywood stage debut with Dirty Laundry and would like to thank the cast and production crew for making him feel at home. Paul is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and is currently seeking representation.

Steven Benson, Director Dirty Laundry

Recent directing credits include the award winning productions of Poe!, 70 Dollars To A Bus Ride Home, Closer Than Ever, A Gay Christmas Carol, and the Los Angeles premieres of Bed, Boys & Beyond and The Crumple Zone (which each ran 4 1/2 months). Steven is also on the Board of Directors for Theatre Neo where he has directed numerous productions, most recently an extended run of the Ovation Award winning Clare Boothe Luce classic The Women. Steven also had the wonderful opportunity this past fall to go to Seattle and re-direct The Crumple Zone. The recipient of numerous awards and nominations, Steven holds a Master's Degree in Theatre from the University of California, Irvine.

Matthew Scarpino, Scenic Design Dirty Laundry

Matthew has worked as a Scenic Designer, Technical Director, Scenic Design Consultant, Trade Show Designer, and Stage Manager. His scenic design credits include The Women, Coming Attractions, and Honey I'm Home at the Hudson Avenue Theatre, the Comedy Central New Work Space at the Hudson Backstage Theatre, Alfie at the MET Theatre, Abstract Expression, Reunion, and Gangster Planet at the Egyptian Arena Theatre. A two time Kennedy Center Award winning scenic design finalist for Oklahoma and Twelfth Night, Matthew holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in the area of Scenic Design and Technical Direction from California State University, Fullerton.

Megan Foster Miller, Costume Design Dirty Laundry

In her debut with Chromolume Theatre Company, she brings with her a wide body of design experience ranging from Shakespeare to Tom Stoppard. Megan has designed extensively in Los Angeles and her scenic design for the original play Grasmere could recently be seen at The Cherry Lane Theatre in New York. She divides her time between theatre design and creative costuming for Disney.

Ron Wyand, Sound Design Dirty Laundry

Ron's sound designs can be heard throughout Southern California. His recent designs include: Lee Miller, The Angel and the Fiend for the J. Paul Getty Museum; Newport Theater Arts Center's production of Camping with Tom and Henry; The Women at the Hudson Avenue Theater; Quilters and Cabaret for the Huntington Beach Playhouse; The Crumple Zone in Los Angeles and Seattle for Dad 'n' Pop Productions, The Price for A Noise Within; The Rose Tattoo at Long Beach Playhouse and Ernest In Love at the Fremont Center Theater. Ron has received numerous design awards including a Backstage West Garland Award for The Interact Theater's production of The Cherry Orchard. He is the resident Sound Designer at the Long Beach Playhouse, a member of the Production Staff at A Noise Within and is an Audio Engineer at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center's James Armstrong Theater.

Aaron Gregory, Scenic Artist/Prop Master Dirty Laundry

Aaron has worked in Visual Merchandising, styling and designing windows for Nordstrom South Coast Plaza, Nordstrom Topanga Canyon, and Nieman Marcus Beverly Hills. For the past two years he has worked as a lead scenic artist and associate scenic designer in Los Angeles Theatre. Recent projects include Sockmuffin the Elf at The Globe Theatre, The Women at the Hudson Ave Theatre, Paloma at the Hudson Backstage Theatre, and Alfie at the Met Theatre. A Kennedy Center Meritorious Achievement Award winner for Scenic Painting, Aaron received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in the area of Painting and Drawing from California State University, Fullerton.

Sean Beebe, Light Design Dirty Laundry

Sean is a career technician with focus in sound, lighting, and rigging. He has worked such shows as Sweet Charity, Cabaret, La Cage Aux Folles, It's Christmas Snoopy!, and Grease. He has also worked such events as Lollapalooza, the LA auto show, The Taste of Newport, and various NCCJ events. He currently lives in Anaheim and commutes to wherever the work takes him. His hobbies include music and Renaissance faire.

Inga Agrest, Stage Manager Dirty Laundry

Inga graduated from the University of South Carolina with M.M. in Opera/Theatre Directing in 2002. During her graduate studies she served as assistant director for the Studio Lirico production of La Indfidelta Fidele in Italy; and as assistant director and stage manager for Dido and Aeneas, Sour Angelica and Gianni Schicchi productions at USC. She has also directed the production of Boyarinya Vera Sheloga. Inga recently moved to Los Angeles and worked as a stage manager for the LA Jewish Theatre production of Eva Peron and the Fourth Reich. Dirty Laundry marks her debut with Chromolume Theatre Company.

George Albertella, Author Dirty Laundry

Albertella, an award winning novelist, has a Ph.D. in Psychology & studied film, TV & theatre at UCLA & Loyola University. He is one of the founders and the Artistic Director of the L.A. Jewish Theatre, the Performing Arts Chair of Partners of the Americas, a non-profit organization with headquarters in Washington, D. C. that develops programs throughout Latin America. His plays have been produced locally and internationally.
